Original Statement:
Our main purpose is to represent ALL Americans, their interests, and the well being of the country. We would like
to make people understand what it is to be an American and the costs involved. We spend too much time wondering
"what can the government give me today", that we never ask "what can I do to make the governments
burden even less".
One of the main things hurting our country is the absolute diversity we give
ourselves without understanding what it is. On the other hand, what makes
us a great country IS that diversity. Does this sound confusing? We need to be more willing to understand our roots BUT at the same time consider
ourselves Americans. We need to 100% think of ourselves as Americans
first, then integrate the many facets of our culture.
If we do not embrace the ways of this great country, the language, the history,
and the culture, we will forever be at "war" with ourselves.
I think we are too willing to dismiss the quote, "Politically Correct" as a "way of living",
and not truly think of who or what gets hurt. Why should we shield people from the truth just because they would
get offended or otherwise be uncomfortable? We should be more interested in how the majority feels and not the
minority or the individual.
If you remember how we started, it was in a total rebellion of our original government. I think we have come a
long way! Lets try to mend the problems in our country before we get to a point like that again.
America is comprised of MANY races, religions, and peoples. ALL people in America make this country great, and
we should not forget that. We get too caught up in pleasing the most militant factions of this great country that
we forget to ask the majority what they think.
We are getting too soft in thinking and our morals. We need to seriously figure out where we want to go, and make
a clear path ahead. What I am trying to convey is, let us all get back to a more simplistic lifestyle. I don't
mean without our technology, but why not see what we REALLY need in this world and make IT work first! I think
we are so keen on getting everything done at once that we do not focus on the most important issues at hand.
Although I totally support our military, why do we need to spend SO much on
them? There has to be a balance between spending on military and
education for our young.
Some examples of where improvements need to be made would be: Space exploration, government services, defense spending,
other needless government spending, wasted efforts from people duplicating research and development, costs involved
with the Internet and global phone networks, etc. There are so many GOOD services that can be made much better
and more cost effective if we just managed them better.
Let us not get complacent with our help to the needy,
but better yet strive to offer the help where needed. We should not offer help to people just because we can, but
because those certain people ACTUALLY need the help.
Basically, I think we can work together better and help each
other with the future. We have too many secrets and not enough collaboration. This may seem like a fantasy, but
wouldn't this be ideal? I realize we cannot please all the people all the time, but
peaceful co-existence would
certainly be great.

Over the course of the next several months, I will bring more information online to demonstrate what I mean. There
will be pages devoted to our government, politics in general, militia groups, flag burning, protesting, and such.
Please remember that there is still a lot of thought that needs to go into this website. I really would like to
make this a bouncing ground for your ideas. The key here is to get us talking and to figure out just what we want
from our country!
Please send email to response@america1st.org if you would like to
get more information about this movement, or if you would like to join. At this point there is no fee, just the
willingness to share information and your views. We would really like to hear
EVERYONE'S idea of what America should
be and what you think makes it great.
THANK YOU.
